Penang Medical College is pleased to offer RCSI & UCD Dublin Scholarship Programme for the year 2016. Two types of scholarship programmes are offered to both Malaysian and international students.

These scholarships are offered to provide full tuition fees assistance to students.

The college provides undergraduate education to the highest international standards in Medicine and Allied Health Sciences. The main objective of the school is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students.

Scholarship can be taken at: Penang Medical College, Malaysia

Applicants must have the IELTS: an average score of 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 for each component. TOEFL: minimum score of 600 with test of written English at 475+ minimum of 250 in computer-based test and minimum of 100 in internet-based test.

Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue undergraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded for Medical programme.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this Scholarship:-

 

PMC MEDICINE PROGRAMME (INTERNATIONAL ONLY)
-Open to all International citizens applying to Penang Medical College (non-Malaysian citizens).
-Applicants are expected to obtain, actual or predicted, a minimum of AAA at A-Levels or 40 points excluding bonus points at IBDP or equivalent and must have applied to PMC.
-Recipients of scholarships will be required to acknowledge the support provided by the scholarship programme in presentations or publications resulting from receipt of the scholarships and act as Student Ambassadors for the duration of the scholarships.
-Any scholarship recipient who has to repeat an academic year will forfeit the scholarship from that point on and will cease to receive any financial support from PMC.  Scholarships are applicable solely for the 5-year PMC Medicine programme.

PMC MEDICINE PROGRAMME (MALAYSIANS ONLY)

-Open to all Malaysian citizens applying to Penang Medical College.

English language/Test Requirements: Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

-Medical Report signed and sealed by your Physician and a certified copy of Hepatitis B Blood Test Report.
-Certified copy of Birth Certificate, Identification Card (IC) and Passport.
-Two recent passport sized photographs, signed at the back.

Marshal Papworth Scholarships for Developing Countries provide opportunities for students from developing countries to gain the agricultural and horticultural skills needed to achieve a sustainable future for themselves and their communities through two scholarship programmes:

• Masters programme – A one year’s Masters Degree in agriculture or horticulture at a UK-based university
• Marshal Papworth 10-week short course – A 10-week practical and experiential course to empower change makers in rural communities.Our Masters programme

As an agricultural charity we favour land-based postgraduate courses, including Sustainable Development, Waste Management and International Horticulture. THE SHORT COURSE PROGRAMME

Marshal Papworth Scholarships for Developing Countries funds a Level 3 certificate in agriculture. This is a 10-week short course in partnership with Shuttleworth College.The 10-week short course is where students learn vocational skills in animal and crop husbandry, machinery operations, IT and study a Special Marshal Papworth module in small scale business management.Upon completion of this course students will receive a Level 3 Certificate in Agriculture, validated by Edexcel which is an internationally recognised awarding body.

Apply for ESMT MBA Scholarships in Germany, 2016

European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) is now accepting applications for international engineers scholarship. The scholarships are available for pursuing master degree programme at ESMT in Germany.

Scholarships are allocated based on academic excellence, personal and professional achievement, leadership potential and interpersonal skills. ESMT faculty publishes in top academic journals. Additionally, the business school provides an interdisciplinary platform for discourse between politics, business, and academia.

The international business school offers a full-time MBA, an executive MBA, an executive MBA/MPA, a master’s in management as well as open enrollment and customized executive education programmes.

To apply, master’s in management candidates need to have a previous degree (at least Bachelor’s equivalent). TOEFL scores (95 minimum) or equivalent proof of English fluency is required and Code is 8707.

Candidates should complete the scholarship essay as part of their ESMT online application explaining how they qualify for this scholarship.

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: To apply, master’s in Management candidates need to have a previous degree (at least Bachelor’s equivalent). Candidates with outstanding backgrounds who complete an engineering or applied science degree in a top technology university in any country.

Test Requirement: Proof of strong quantitative abilities, whether with a GMAT/GRE or significant mathematics courses during the bachelor’s studies (see university’s next tab about the GMAT). The average GMAT score is 640. ESMT’s GMAT code is 7121. University also accepts GRE scores, and the designated institution (DI) code is 7768.

English Language Requirements: TOEFL scores (95 minimum) or equivalent proof of English fluency. Code is 8707.

Apply for Scholarship in Australia or New Zealand for ANZCA Training

Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is pleased to offer training scholarship for developing countries students. Scholarship is available for pursuing training in a hospital in Australia and New Zealand. Scholarship is offered to foster leadership in anaesthesia, including intensive care and pain medicine in developing countries. The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) is the professional organisation for around 5000 specialist anaesthetists (Fellows) and 2000 anaesthetists in training (trainees).

Applicants must be a graduate of his or her country’s specialty training program to local fellowship or masters level. Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

Degree Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing training in a hospital in Australia and New Zealand.

Subject Offered: The scholarship is designed to increase the recipient’s capacity to advance anaesthesia and/or pain medicine for the benefit of his or her community.

  • Must not have residency status in Australia or New Zealand.
  • Application is supported by an Australian or New Zealand Specialist Anaesthetist or Specialist Pain Medicine Physician. -Meets the relevant Australian and New Zealand government immigration requirements.
  • Meets the eligibility criteria imposed by the government of his or her country of citizenship.
  • Adequate knowledge of the English language at a professional level and have satisfied Australian or New Zealand medical registration requirements (for example, IELTS).
  • Capacity to become a leader in anaesthesia and/or pain medicine in his or her own country.
  • Timely submission of a detailed application on the appropriate form, supported by sponsorship statements and contact details of referees.
  • Ability to commence the scholarship in the calendar year for which it is offered.
  • Must not hold another scholarship during the period of this scholarship.

York World Scholarship in Canada 2016-2017

As a York World Scholar applicant, you will also be automatically considered for the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies International Student Entrance Scholarship. Eligible candidates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 90% and 94.9% will receive $2,000; candidates with a GPA of 95% or higher will receive $3000.

Application instructions:

International applicants can apply through the Ontario Universities Application Center (OUAC) (if they are interested in applying to other Ontario Universities) OR they can use the York online application (if they are interested in applying to York only). After submitting the OUAC application, two statements of interest are required:

a. A statement of 400 words describing the double major combination you have chosen and why.
b. A statement of 200 words explaining who you envision yourself to be in the next five years.

The OUAC application and both statements are due no later than 20 April 2016.
