The ITEC Programme is fully sponsored by the Government of India and has been running successfully for over 50 years. It is designed to build the capacity of professionals through a series of unique training courses.

The Government of India has allocated 30 places for participants from Commonwealth member countries for the 2016-2017 Programme.

Applicants living and working in one of the 51 NFP countries are invited to apply with Business School Netherlands (BSN) by 22 July 2016 to facilitate timeous application for funding with EP-Nuffic by the 2 August 2016 deadline.

Approximately 1000 courses (Masters and Short Courses) are offered each year through the NFP scholarship whereby 20,000 applications are received. 7,000 nominations are processed and then assessed by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dutch embassies, rounding up a final 2,000 candidates who are selected from the various Dutch institutions, BSN being one of the chosen institutes. NFP is a full (100%) MBA Scholarship programme designed to foster institutional development within certain parts of the world. Applicants to certain academic and short courses of Dutch higher education institutions apply for the fellowship to cover the cost of tuition fees, accommodation and international travel for study.

The eligible countries
Currently International MBA candidates from within the Country List are eligible to apply for funding through the Dutch Embassy or Consulate within their country.

Who can apply?

  • Mid-career professionals in employment
  • Only the individual applicant can apply for funding
  • The training must occur within the context of the organisation with which the applicant works
  • The training must be seen to help the organisation in its development strategies
  • Employer support is essential

Target group
While fellowships are awarded to individuals, the need for training must occur within the context of the organization for which an applicant works. The training must help the organization to develop its capacity. This means that applicants must be nominated by their employers. In fact, an application without the support of an employer will not be considered.

Priorities
Half of the available funding from the NFP budget should be spent on fellowships for female candidates and for candidates from sub-Saharan Africa. Apart from this priority is given to candidates from deprived groups and/or from marginalized regions.

Additionally, the overall objective is to spend 35% of the budget on grants and study programmes in food security and private sector development.

How to apply?

To be eligible for an NFP fellowship, candidates need to be admitted to the International Action Learning MBA programme.

How to apply for a NFP Scholarship:

  1. Ensure you meet the admission criteria for the International MBA Programme
  2. Ensure you meet the entrance criteria for the NFP Scholarship
  3. Submit your application to the Admissions Team before 15 July 2016.

For non-English speakers a TOEFL or IELTS language test is required. The minimum pass mark for TOEFL is 550 (paper); 213 (computer) or 80 (internet) and IELTS 6.0. Exemptions can be considered should your mother tongue be English and you have successfully completed your degree in English.

Prior to the application to EP-Nuffic (NFP), the applicant should first be accepted, and therefore comply with the requirements set by Business School Netherlands for the International Action Learning MBA.

Cyprus International Institute of Management Scholarships for International Students, 2016

Cyprus International Institute of Management is offering seven full scholarships worth € 82,000 and 50 partial scholarships. These scholarships are open to both Cyprus and international students for pursuing the undergraduate and postgraduate programme.

The scholarships are aimed at helping prospective students study internationally recognised programs at CIIM, at both the undergraduate and the postgraduate level.

The Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM) is a non-profit international business school established in 1990 by a group of business leaders and a team of prominent academics representing some of the world’s top business schools.

The candidate should have a very good command over the English language.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programme.

Study Subject: One full scholarship is available for each of the following programmes: Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Sector Management (MPS,M), MSc in Management, MSc in Financial Services, MSc in Human Resource Management and MSc in Educational Leadership and Administration.

Scholarship Award: There are seven full MTN scholarships worth € 82,000. Apart from these 7 full scholarships, there are 50 partial scholarships available that can cover up to 50% of the tuition fees.

Scholarship can be taken in Cyprus

Eligibility: Any individual eligible for admission to the CIIM programmes of his/her choice may compete for these scholarships.  The scholarships will be awarded strictly on merit to candidates who demonstrate an excellent combination of:

  • Educational background
  • Personal qualities
  • Success in an interview

Candidates for MBA and MPSM need to have a minimum of 3 years work experience (the duration of service in the army will also be counted towards work experience).

Nationality: Cypriot and international students can apply for these scholarships.

MSc Scholarship in Economics at ICEF, HSE University, Russia

The ICEF MSc Programme combines the best of the educational traditions of the UK (in-depth professional education) and Russia (high quality theoretical education).

The concept of the ICEF Master’s Programme is based on comparable courses at LSE (MSc Economics) and the Oxford University Business School (MSc Financial Economics). For example, both the ICEF and LSE programmes include in-depth study of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Econometrics, and just like at Oxford University, the ICEF programme contains a significant number of theoretical and applied financial courses. Cardiff University International Scholarship Funds for Master Programme, 2016

School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Cardiff University is offering international scholarship funds for the master program. Self-funded overseas students who have applied for Cardiff University’s Masters of Pharmacy (MPharm, UCAS code B230) program for entry in 2016 are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

Cardiff is established as one of Britain’s leading universities. Its ambition is to be among the top 100 universities in the world and top 20 in the UK.

The university is consistently recognised as providing high quality research-based university education and was ranked 122nd in the world by the QS World University Rankings 2015–16, as well as achieving the highest student satisfaction rating in the 2013 National Student Survey for universities in Wales. Scholarship can be taken in the UK

Eligibility: Self-funded overseas (by fee status) students who have applied for Cardiff University’s Masters of Pharmacy (MPharm, UCAS code B230) program for entry in 2016 are eligible to apply for the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences’ International Scholarship Scheme. Applicants applying for entry to the MPharm in 2017 will be eligible to apply to 2017 entry scheme.

Nationality: International students can apply for these scholarships.
