The new Chinese Government Scholarship- Changchun University of Science and Technology Program is now available on offer for Non-Chinese students in China.

This is a full scholarship established by MOE to support Changchun University of Science and Technology to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China.

Changchun University of Science and Technology is a key university in China, previously known as Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics. The university was found by the former vice chairman of China Association for Science and Technology and the founder of the Chinese Optical Society, Wang Daheng in 1958 in Changchun, Jilin, China. The IEEC of CUST is an organization specially engaged in enrolling international students and in charge of the educative matters.

  4. A Study Plan or Research Proposal in Chinese or English with a minimum of 800 words.

Applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months must submit a photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (the original copy should be kept by the applicant. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
  7. Applicants with valid HSK Certificate should enclose it in the application package.

The above documents should be bound on top left corner (in duplicate) and sent directly to Changchun University of Science and Technology, who will forward the nominated documents to CSC before June 30th. No application documents will be returned.

SINGA Fully Funded Awards for International Students in Singapore, 2019

SINGA Awards are given every year to top students from all over the world. Awards are available for pursuing PhD studies either at National University of Singapore (NUS) or Nanyang Technological University (NTU) or the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).

They want to encourage more such exchanges, to build friendships and mutual understanding. This is why they are introducing a new Singapore International Graduate Award (or SINGA), for international students to do their Ph.D. training in a multi-disciplinary environment in Singapore. 240 SINGA Awards will be given every year to top students from all over the world.

The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a collaboration between the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Ph.D. training will be carried out in English at your chosen lab at A*STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS or SUTD. Introduction – Due to the intergovernmental character of UNESCO, individual application is not acceptable for UNESCO. Only the application endorsed by the National Commissions for UNESCO will be considered. Applicants should submit their application documents through the National Commissions. The National Commission will select qualified candidates and transmit the application documents of nominated candidates to UNESCO. The applications, attached with the letter of nomination endorsed by the National Commission, should be sent to Mr Stoyan Bantchev, Chief of the Participation Programme and Fellowships Section by e-mail (s.bantchev-at-unesco.org), with b.qin-at-unesco.org and v.lopy(at)unesco in copy, by 26 March 2018 at the latest.
